Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking an Engagement Manager to join our rapidly growing team. As an engagement manager, you will manage deadlines, deliverables and the flow of communication, working to ensure the successful delivery of our service offerings. As a key member of our team, you will have opportunities to grow your role beyond the scope of this job description.
This position is contract-to-hire, with base + bonus pay model for successful engagement completion. Estimated base pay range is equivalent to $120K annually.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Building and managing service offering delivery schedule for client engagements; this includes gathering requirements from clients, working with both leadership and technical teams to efficiently allocate resources and manage progress toward completion
- Leverage a hybrid project management methodology
- Support the refined
- Setting milestones for project and managing workflow; work between team and clients to identify, communicate and mitigate roadblocks
- Manage project scopes and budgets to ensure on-spec delivery and avoid unnecessary “scope creep”
- Contribute to annual/quarterly planning processes
Knowlege & Skills
- Ability to manage project details while keeping sight of larger project goals and strategy
- Track record of managing technical teams/projects and delivery of technical solutions
- Experience building and managing client relationships with large, complex client organizations; experience managing primary point-of-contact as well as client-side stakeholder and decision maker relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies
- An outcome-centric approach to collaboration and management
- Interest in joining a dynamic, rapidly-growing consultancy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- 5+ years experience in client-facing technology project management; experience with Big Data, AI/ML, BI and analytics preferred
- Experience with cloud computing solutions such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
